Advisory - Delay in Transit of M.V. Chi Qiang Cheng Xing at Strait of Hormuz
Dear Valued Customers,
We would like to inform you that M.V. Chi Qiang Cheng Xing attempted to transit the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday following the temporary opening announced for commercial vessels.
Subsequently, based on latest developments and inputs from regional sources, transit conditions have deteriorated again, with reports indicating renewed restrictions and security concerns in the Strait, including increased military presence and controlled passage measures.
Due to the above situation, the vessel was unable to proceed and has been instructed to hold position, currently at anchor in a safe location.
As a carrier, we are in continuous coordination with relevant authorities and monitoring the situation closely. We are making all possible efforts to resume the vessel's movement; however, there is no significant improvement at this stage.
We will keep all customers informed of further developments as the situation evolves.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Warm regards,
