Important Notice for OOG Cargo

All OOG cargo is subject to prior approval from Sea Express, POL/POD Terminal and Vessel Master/Chief Officer, with final acceptance subject to vessel stowage, seaworthiness and operational feasibility.

Compliance Guidelines

Mandatory Requirements

01
Documents

POL/POD OOG handling approval, OOG/ODC manifest, valid surveyor certificate, declared dimensions/weight, photographs where required, and approved lashing/securing plan must accompany the advance loading list.

02
72-Hour Cut-Off

Complete OOG details and documents must be submitted minimum 72 hours before vessel ETA. Any change in dimensions, weight or configuration must be advised before listing.

03
Dimensions / Weight

Any discrepancy between declared and actual dimensions/weight may result in rejection/shut-out. All resulting storage, shifting, delay or cancellation costs shall be for the MLO/NVOCC/Shipper's account.

04
Corner Posts

All flat-rack corner posts must remain upright and unobstructed to allow stacking. Otherwise, applicable slots may be killed/blocked, subject to vessel/booking terms and conditions.

05
Lashing & Securing

Cargo must be properly lashed, chocked, blocked and braced as per the approved lashing plan. Any deficiency or deviation identified by the vessel crew may result in rejection/shut-out.

06
Master / CO Inspection

OOG cargo must be presented alongside at the earliest opportunity for Master/Chief Officer inspection and acceptance. Shipper must provide manpower/equipment for any additional lashing required.

07
Special Charges

All shifting, special gear, crane, lashing, terminal and other additional handling charges at POL/POD shall be for the MLO/NVOCC/Shipper's account, based on actual costs incurred.

08
Vessel Rejection

If rejected by the vessel due to safety, stowage, lashing, documentation or operational reasons, all consequential costs shall be for the MLO/NVOCC/Shipper's account.

09
Liability

Loading, discharge and carriage are subject to the applicable B/L terms. Any damage to vessel, crew, equipment or other cargo arising from improper packing/securing or incorrect declaration shall be for the concerned MLO/NVOCC/Shipper's account.

10
Flat Rack Restriction

Over-width cargo and blocking/bracing materials must remain at least 30 cm (12") clear of flat-rack corner posts to permit under-deck stowage.

Note: Final loading is strictly subject to Terminal approval, Vessel Master/Chief Officer acceptance and safe stowage availability.
