Dangerous Cargo Policy

No Dangerous Goods (DG) cargo will be accepted or loaded on Sea Express Shipping Line vessels without prior approval from the Sea Express DG Desk.

The DG Desk will only approve shipments that fully comply with:

IMO regulations

Sea Express Shipping Line DG policies

Applicable national and local laws

Any specific requirements or instructions issued by the DG Desk and vessel planners

DG Approval Process
Shipper Responsibilities

Shippers are responsible for ensuring full compliance prior to shipment, including:

  • Submission of a duly signed Dangerous Goods Declaration and Packing Certificate to the local agent.
  • Accurate classification and proper identification of all DG cargo.
  • Correct labeling, marking, and packaging in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Timely preparation and submission of all required documentation.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Bill of Lading

Shipping papers

Any additional regulatory or port-specific documentation

Failure to comply with the above requirements may result in shipment rejection, delays, or regulatory action.
